Our beer garden is behind the main building. Its old trees and the unique view of the famous Alten-
burg (the seats next to the fence are very popular) allow you to enjoy hot days without traffic noise.
We are the only typical Franconian beer garden in Bamberg that opens at 10.30 am.
Here you can indulge in lunch and dinner or coffee and snacks. Our benches are very comfortable and meals and drinks will be served by our friendly staff.
The beer garden is located above the initial cellar for beer storage. To aid in the cooling process, chestnut trees and lime trees were planted. These trees provide plentiful shade on hot days, but of course there are also many sunny places. With a combination of indoor and outdoor seating, even when it rains no one has to go home!
